REIVAX NORTH AMERICA, a leading provider of Excitation Systems and Speed Governors, has been selected to provide an Excitation System for a sugar mill in Montana.

The RTX Power Excitation System supplied by REIVAX is a direct replacement for the aging Basler SSR 200Adc/125Vdc Excitation System. The replacement project was primarily driven by difficulties to find spare parts and to get service for the existing equipment.

The new REIVAX Excitation System will be delivered in 4 months in order to meet the customers annual outage schedule.

The steam generator lowers the steam pressure for use on the sugar making process. The generator supplies part of the process load of the plant and is not connected to the grid. There can be sudden changes in load and frequency. The unit operates with a large frequency range.
