Reivax North America offers power and automation products, systems and service solutions across the power generation field for customers in the Renewable Energy segment enabling them to create a stronger, smarter and greener power grid.

Reivax is seeking a full-time and immediate Technical Account Manager. The successful candidate with direct report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Depending on the geographic location of the candidate, work from a full-time home office is required or, at a minimum, work part-time at a home office and part-time at the office.

Your Responsibilities

  • • A self-motivated person able to work independently. An ambitious go getter eager to drive sales and receive the financial rewards of an outstanding performance.
  • • You have a technical background that allows for a thorough understanding of our products and our market: to understand their impact at hydro, gas and steam power generation stations.
  • • Using various tools provided by Reivax, create new accounts by engaging new customers and developing long term relationships.
  • • You will also be provided with existing customer accounts. You will be required to further develop those customers towards long term relationships and find new opportunities.
  • • Understanding the key business drivers of power generation customers and their business environment while interpreting the impact and opportunity for Reivax.
  • • Seeking knowledge of the customer’s current business and long-term plans.
  • • Monitoring competitors’ activity with the accounts and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
  • • Creating preliminary technical designs (Mechanical and Electrical) for customer bids based on detailed customer technical specifications.
  • • Working in a dynamic team environment with other professionals in marketing, engineering and business development to contribute to the growth of the company.
  • • Besides gaining a deeper understanding of engineering in Power Generation, expand your level of expertise in business development with a greater understanding of business law and contracts, sourcing, logistics, sub-contractors, sales strategies, business relationships and much more.
  • • Travel within Canada and the USA approximately 50% of the time.
  • • Attending various tradeshows in North America and meet new customers developing relationships towards future business.

 

Qualifications

  • • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred) or an equivalent degree from a technical college.
  • • Minimum of 5 years experience in direct technical sales preferably in the field of Power Generation (not mandatory).
  • • Ability to work effectively from a home office depending on your geographic region.
  • • Ability to take initiative and work independently, efficiently and effectively.
  • • Excellent computer skills especially with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • • Strong technical background.
  • • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An ability to engage and influence other professionals (Engineers, Business people, etc.)
  • • Excellent organizational and planning skills: able to multi-task
  • • Strong relationship building skills.
  • • Flexible and open minded.
  • • Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively with attention to detail.
  • • Ability to work to demanding deadlines.
  • • We are looking for a driven individual that is highly motivated and delivers exceptional results.
  • • This position is open to Canadian or U.S. citizens with no restrictions travelling between both countries.
  • • Hold a valid Canadian or US passport and driver’s license.
  • • Fluent in English, spoken and written.
