At Reivax you will be part of a small, but dedicated team, working in the renewable energy automation sector.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for the company’s accounting system and general financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the general accounting system
• Make/Modify journal entries
• Review and manage expenses
• Cashflow management and analysis
• Prepare financial analysis as needed
• Perform A/R and A/R
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly tax filings
• Prepare monthly and quarterly closing documentation for our 3^rd party accountant
• Support various associated corporate functions as needed (insurance, bonding, other)
• Support various corporate HR functions as needed (manage corporate policies and company health insurance plan)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor (or college) degree in accounting/finance or experience in a similar role
• 1-3 years experience as a financial analyst (or similar role) with exposure to corporate or operations accounting
• Basic understanding of Canadian corporate accounting and book keeping best practices (GAAP)
• Highly proficient with Microsoft products, especially Excel.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written). French an asset.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks (or similar platform) an asset.

• Strong analytical skills and excellent with numbers
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with little supervision
