With pumps being the largest component, Floway acted as the prime contractor and awarded the electrical scope to WEG.\u00a0 \u00a0Reivax supplied nine (9) new fully redundant Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVRs) for WEG\u2019s brushless synchronous motors, which were started across the line.[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"grve-empty-space grve-height-2x\" style=\"\"><\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><em>Excitation line-ups<br \/>\n<\/em><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;]<div class=\"grve-element grve-image grve-align-center\" style=\"\">  <div class=\"grve-image-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"560\" height=\"545\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reivax.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Voltage-Regulator-Cabinets-Line-ups-560x545.jpg\" class=\"attachment-movedo-grve-small-rect-vertical size-movedo-grve-small-rect-vertical\" alt=\"California Department of Water Resources_Reivax\" \/>   <\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The new voltage regulator line-up fits perfectly in the space at both sites. The six (6) voltage regulator cabinets for the Citrus plant is pictured above.<\/p>\n<p>Redundant excitation controllers and redundant 75A, self-cooled, thyristor bridges were used together to provide the end-user with a very reliable system.
