Field Service Specialist<\/span><\/span><\/h2><\/div>
<\/div>[vc_column_text]Reivax North America is seeking a full-time Field Service Specialist. \u00a0The position will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.<\/p>\n

NOTE: Candidate must either be a Canadian citizen, hold a valid work permit or permanent residence visa for Canada.
\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

General Responsibilities \u2013 Field Service Specialist<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Installation Supervision, quality and health & safety oversight for Excitation & Governor systems<\/li>\n
  • Commissioning (start-up service)<\/li>\n
  • Project documentation support and interaction with Reivax engineering team<\/li>\n
  • Technical support and training to customers<\/li>\n
  • Perform site walks, interpreting existing hydraulics circuits, evaluating possible retrofitting solutions and get necessary data and information<\/li>\n
  • Interface with hydraulic suppliers for PNs selection, scope and solution discussion and elaborate basic project for quotation purpose.<\/li>\n
  • Perform HPU (hydraulic power unit) and control manifolds (EHI) design reviews and factory testing.<\/li>\n
  • Travel will be required approximately 60-70% of the time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical engineering or other technical degree<\/li>\n
    • Ability to take initiative and work independently and efficiently.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.).<\/li>\n
    • Good interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.<\/li>\n
    • Hold a valid Canadian or US passport and driver\u2019s license: must be eligible to work in Canada.<\/li>\n
    • Fluent in English, spoken and written.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in interpreting hydraulic schematics and dimensional drawings<\/li>\n
    • Experience in hydraulic circuit and valves dimensioning based on actuator flowrate, taking into account rated pressure, required control logic depending on existing distributing valve, oil conditioning and fail-safe logics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Additional Qualifications<\/h4>\n

      These qualifications are not required but will be considered an advantage towards being the successful candidate:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Three (3) to five (5+) years of Field Service experience, with a background in power generation or utilities.<\/li>\n
      • Fluent in written and spoken French, Spanish, or Portuguese.<\/li>\n
      • Previous experience in field service for Hydraulic systems for governors in hydro plants.<\/li>\n
      • Holder of a B1-US Visa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
