USACE AWARDS UNITROL F UPGRADES TO REIVAX<\/strong><\/h1>\r\nMontreal (March 31st, 2023) – REIVAX NORTH AMERICA, was awarded a contract to design, manufacture and install front-end control kits to upgrade four (4) ABB UNITROL F excitation systems.\r\n\r\nThe contract includes replacement of the exciter controls, SCR bridge interface boards and new 15″ HMI panels. REIVAX will also furnish and install new 15kV cables to feed the Excitation transformers and new AC excitation breakers as part of the contract.\r\n\r\nIn the spirit of fair competition, US Army Corps Of Engineers (USACE) invited the original OEM, ABB, and other companies, including REIVAX, to submit proposals. \u00a0After performing a technical review and past performance due diligence, USACE concluded that REIVAX’s proposal offered the plant the best overall value.\r\n\r\nTo this effect, REIVAX redundant RTX Power<\/a> excitation controllers, will provide the customer with modernized technology, reliable operation and access to parts and technical support.\r\n\r\n“REIVAX has an inherent knowledge of ABB UNITROL excitation systems and REIVAX RTX Power<\/a> excitation controller has successfully replaced many aging excitation controllers from ABB, Basler, GE, Siemens and other OEMs. We are very thankful to once again have the opportunity to work with US Army Corp’s Tulsa district\u201d said Mike Wallin, CEO and President of REIVAX NORTH AMERICA\r\n\r\nREIVAX is honoured to once again work with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).\u00a0\u00a0 Once installed, there will be forty four (44) REIVAX excitation systems installed with USACE in the MRO and SERC regions.\r\n\r\n \r\n
