{"id":21688,"date":"2024-03-03T16:49:59","date_gmt":"2024-03-03T21:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.reivax.com\/us\/?p=21688"},"modified":"2025-08-19T13:08:41","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T17:08:41","slug":"reivax-is-awarded-four-4-unitrol-f-exciter-retrofits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.reivax.com\/us\/reivax-is-awarded-four-4-unitrol-f-exciter-retrofits\/","title":{"rendered":"REIVAX is awarded four (4) UNITROL F exciter retrofits"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\r\n<h1><strong>REIVAX IS AWARDED UNITROL F UPGRADE CONTRACT<\/strong><\/h1>\r\nMontreal (March 3rd, 2024) &#8211; REIVAX NORTH AMERICA, a leading provider of excitation systems and digital governors, was awarded a contract to replace four (4) UNITROL F static excitation systems in the Pacific Northwest.\r\n\r\nWeighting the cost and risk involved in maintaining the existing UNITROL F systems, the customer reasoned that new static excitation systems would provide the best value and reliability.\r\n\r\nUnder the contract REIVAX will be providing four (4) new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reivax.com\/us\/excitation-system\/\">RTX Power<\/a> excitation systems with excitation controls and a 400Adc power circuit. The existing excitation transformers will be maintained.\r\n\r\nREIVAX has upgraded 100&#8217;s of UNITROL F, UNITROL 5000, Basler SSR, Basler DECS300, Basler DECS400, Basler ECS2100, Basler DECS2100, GE EX2000 and GE EX2100 excitation upgrades over the years.\r\n\r\n&#8220;REIVAX solution included a customized cabinet footprint and component layout in order to re-use all the existing customer cable\/wiring interfaces. This approach will reduce the customer&#8217;s overall outage time and cost for the project.
