The FLUIDPOWER Line is composed of different electromechanical systems: actuation of hydraulic or pneumatic actuators; overspeed protection of rotating machines; and measurement of variables such as actuator position and machine speed.
The systems of the FLUIDPOWER Line are applied to flow control in hydropower plants, in generating units driven by Pelton, Francis, Kaplan or Bulb turbines, with power ranging from 1 MW to 1000 MW.
Certified according to all international standards and specially designed for the most demanding sectors, the system operates in highly aggressive environments.
The Hydraulic Power Unit – HPUX supplies pressurized hydraulic oil to the automation and control systems of all types of hydraulic turbines, being responsible for the generation, storage, conditioning, and monitoring of hydraulic oil. Applicable to Francis, Pelton, Kaplan, and Bulb turbines, it drives distributor servomotors (Francis), turbine blades (Kaplan or Bulb), injectors/nozzles and deflectors (Pelton).
The design and development of the products are carried out to meet the specific requirements of each application, ensuring maximum availability and compliance with international standards. The HPUX Hydraulic Power Unit also enables partial modernization of existing hydraulic units, with the replacement of components such as proportional valves, distributor valves, transducers, filters, among others.
The FLUIDPOWER HPUX requires a control and supervision system to ensure proper monitoring of the main oil variables: pressure, temperature, level, and contamination.
For this purpose, the Hydraulic Power Unit Control Panel (PUH) operates motor pumps, intermittent valves, filter switching, oil cooling or heating, among other functions.
The PUH can be designed using a microprocessor (simple or redundant), featuring oscillography, SOE, communication protocols, graphical HMI, air conditioning, etc., or simply by using analog equipment such as switches, pushbuttons, and signal indicators. Everything depends on the project requirements and available budget.
In some cases, it is possible to integrate into the RVX POWER all command, control, and supervision logic of the Hydraulic Power Unit Control Panel.
The PVX is a solution composed of hydraulic actuators that control the water flow to the turbine and, consequently, the torque available for power generation. These actuators are controlled by proportional valves, which receive analog current or voltage signals from the controller and then regulate the position of the hydraulic actuators.
In modernization projects, REIVAX can replace old valves such as the TR-10 (GE/ALSTOM/NEYRPIC).
The DVX is a solution composed of a distributor valve and hydraulic actuators. This assembly is responsible for controlling the water flow to the turbine and, consequently, the torque available for power generation. This product line is intended for large-scale systems, in which the hydraulic actuators are controlled by distributor valves, which in turn are operated by proportional valves that receive analog current or voltage signals from the controller.
The REIVAX MODX system protects the turbine-generator set from damage that may occur during overspeed conditions. Applicable to generating units ranging from less than 1 MW to over 1000 MW, it is a product that is easy to install and offers exceptional cost-effectiveness.
The REIVAX MODX may include an electrical contact for operation signaling (optional), which can be monitored and displayed on the RVX POWER HMI.

REIVAX has highly qualified and experienced professionals to solve complex mechanical problems, both for new installations and modernization projects.
Mechanical engineers and technicians design the components to be used in the solution, prepare complex hydraulic diagrams, oversee and guide the manufacturing and installation of elements, and finally carry out the commissioning of the entire hydraulic system, ensuring full operation of the set while complying with the most demanding international standards.
The FLUIDPOWER product line also includes solutions based on pneumatic systems, applicable to small and medium-sized hydropower plants.
Generating units driven by hydraulic turbines such as Pelton, Francis, Kaplan, or Bulb can benefit from this innovative solution.
By minimizing the use of hydraulic oil in regulation systems, REIVAX’s pneumatic solution delivers a strong environmental advantage.
