REIVAX Platform

The RX Platform consists of proprietary hardware and software, developed by REIVAX for the most demanding applications requiring high performance, such as Excitation Systems, Digital Governors and Automation Systems.

Applied in the Generation, Transmission, and Industrial sectors, the RX platform is versatile, enabling the control of generators, motors, and synchronous condensers, as well as the automation of all plant subsystems.

It serves hydroelectric plants with Francis, Pelton, Kaplan, and bulb turbines, including reversible turbines. It serves thermoelectric plants driven by steam, gas, and fuel engines, including nuclear and biomass. It serves substations with rotating synchronous condensers, operating in two or four excitation quadrants. It also serves the oil and gas sector, offshore, refineries, etc. It serves the industrial sector with synchronous motors for water pumping, wind tunnels for aircraft testing, and others.

Some of the many advantages of the RX platform are:

– Oscillography of AC signals (PTs and CTs measurements), even allowing online signal monitoring during commissioning;

– Sequence of Events (SOE) with resolution of 1 ms. Easy investigation and comparison with protection relay records;

– Superior control performance (reduced response times), ensuring compliance with Grid Codes in many countries;

– Physical interface suitable for the electrical system, with isolation above 2kV, 4-20mA analog inputs and outputs, firing circuits for excitation systems, among others;

– Complete processor and IO redundancy, operating in a hot-hot topology, ensuring greater system availability.
