The RTX Power excitation system is based on an advanced platform designed to ensure high performance and reliability. It has all voltage regulation functions, system monitoring and protection, thus allowing its use in generators, synchronous condensers and motors.

The RVX Power platform for Hydroelectric Governors is a fully redundant PLC or microprocessor based system that can increase Turbine availability.  This high-end solution provides speed and power control functions, operation of the hydraulic actuators and monitoring and automation for the hydraulic power unit.

The control hardware used in RTX and RVX Power was designed to allow for the addition of more functionality without sacrificing processor speed or processor memory, thus allowing to combine both the Voltage Regulator and Digital Governor in the same control hardware.
