REIVAX replaces UNITROL F static excitation system for a Siemens steam turbine
Learn how Reivax designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a static excitation system for a 40MW Siemens steam turbine.
The steam turbine is part of a 117MW combined cycle plant which was built in 2006. Two (2) GE LM6000 turbines provide steam to the Siemens turbine.
The customer preferred a single point of contact for the design – build – install project and Reivax North America was awarded the contract in competitive bidding where the technical solution, reliability, safety and overall cost were evaluated.
