Combined Excitation System and Speed Governor

The RTVX POWER Combined Excitation System and Speed Governor were developed based on the integration of two REIVAX systems: Excitation System (RTX) and Digital Hydro Governor (RVX). Thus, it was possible to optimize all signals and resources of both systems in a single new piece of equipment.

RTVX POWER was first applied in 1999 and was immediately recognized and accepted by ONS (Brazilian Electric Power System Operator). This equipment was contemplated and recommended in the 2006 IEEE STD 1010 standard.
