REIVAX replaces UNITROL F static excitation system on a Siemens steam turbine

Learn how Reivax designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a static excitation system on a 40MW Siemens steam turbine.

The steam turbine is part of a 117MW combined cycle plant which was built in 2006, with two (2) GE LM6000 turbines provide steam to the Siemens turbine.

In order to reduce the project risk, the customer preferred a single point for the design – build – install project.  Reivax North America was awarded the contract in competitive bidding where the technical solution, reliability, safety and overall cost were evaluated. This project was highlighted in the report Excitation Systems Global Market Report 2024.
