Our Digital Governor System RVX ENERGY was developed by REIVAX for control of small and medium-sized turbines, with an exceptional cost-benefit-ratio.

A standardized solution, with high performance, in a smaller footprint and with faster delivery time.


MAIN FEATURES

• Frequency, Active Power, Opening and Level control modes
• Isolated and Grid connected operation
• PID control loops for Frequency and Power with a configurable Speed Droop
• Three (3) tuning parameter sets for Off-line/Grid connected/Isolated mode
• Deadband compensation
• Automatic frequency sensing between pick-ups and PTs
• Opening Limiter with rate and maximum limitation
• Fast and stable control with feed forward and Power/Opening look-up table for Wicket Gate and Runner Blades (Kaplan) or between Nozzles and Deflectors (Pelton)
• Automatic start and stop sequence with adjustable rate
• Creep detection supervision
• Supervision of the HPU for oil pressure, temperature, level and dirty filter
• Control and Supervision of the intake and bypass valve
• Step response and simulated isolation (IEEE 1207-2011) tests
• Sequence of Events (SEO)
• Coordination between Wicket Gate and Runner Blades (Kaplan) or between Nozzles and Deflectors (Pelton)
• Gate Opening Limiter with adjustable rate


APPLICATIONS

The RVX Energy Digital Governor System is suitable for use with up to two (2) control loops, as follows:

• Francis turbine (with or without distributing valve)
• Kaplan turbines (without distributing valve)
• Pelton turbine 1 injector (deflector control or on-off)
• Pelton turbine 2 injectors (on-off deflector control)
• Control of a hydraulic unit (HPU) with up to two pumps
• Control of an intake valve and a bypass valve (ON-OFF control)
